great stay but some room for improvement
The location was convenient for exploring nearby attractions. I found the bed exceptionally cozy—so much that I almost skipped early morning outings just to enjoy it longer. The soundproofing really impressed me. I enjoyed a peaceful, uninterrupted night's sleep despite being on a busy floor. I appreciated how clean the bathroom was, which is often a deal-breaker for me.
Staff service could be a bit more attentive during peak hours.

My stay at Mulberry in Westlake was quite enjoyable. The clean rooms and pleasant outdoor spaces provided a relaxing atmosphere, ideal for unwinding after exploring. I found the breakfast options somewhat limited. A lovely experience I would happily repeat.

Great option for families
I had a Beautiful King Suite which was just terrific. Spacious and with all the amenities you could need for a longer stay. Even had a full size refrigerator and a stove. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean,, just how I like it.
Wasn't exactly inexpensive,, but the quality made it still worth it.

The Mulberry is conveniently located just minutes from Lake Charles and offers an elegant, modern ambiance. The breakfast offered a wide variety of tasty options, including waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausages, in a clean and spacious dining area with plenty of sunlight. The staff was attentive and ensured a pleasant stay despite some hiccups during my check-in.
Check-in process was slightly delayed due to front desk confusion.

missingWrote a review on 25 Feblimited options
The dining options leave much to be desired, with only two fast food joints nearby. Breakfast felt underwhelming, featuring largely basic fare like watery eggs and few replenished items. A coffee machine that barely worked. Each room apparently comes with a noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom, making it tough to keep the lights on without the grinding noise. Also, the walls are way too thin. if your neighbors are snoring, you might as well be sharing space with them.

The breakfast spread was decent, but a fruit buffet would’ve hit the spot! The friendly staff made up for it—shoutout to Terri and Kayla for being true lifesavers.
The fitness center was a complete bust. broken equipment and limited breakfast options left something to be desired. Plus, a strange odor in the room was a real buzzkill.
